Where Our Money Goes

HCP kids are hard workers, big dreamers and achievers. Our faculty, staff and administrators do amazing work with our kids, and they do it on a shoestring budget. The HCP Parent Organization supports all of these efforts, both through volunteer hours and fundraising efforts. So where does that money go?

  • Scholarships: The HCCPO provides funding which allows for the awarding of a $1000 scholarship to three deserving Seniors each year. When we have additional funds, we award more scholarships.
  • Extracurricular Enrichment: In 2015 the HCPPO was able to provide funds to support Harding’s Exchange Program with our French sister school Lycée Hugues Capet - Solis, France.
  • Extracurricular Activities: The HCPPO dues and fundraising activities allows us to offer a fun and safe after-prom activity, the annual back to school "Howdy Dance" and parent BBQ, along with supporting STUCO with their year long activities for the students and community.
  • Homecoming Activities: The HCPPO helps to fund homecoming activities each year.   The HCPPO and STUCO worked together to decorate and provide flowers for the Homecoming candidates making for a memorable event.
  • Grounds Beautification: Parents consistently contribute in keeping the grounds looking good, both inside and out.  Many parents generously donate not only their time and talent, but also the use of their lawn, gardening and other equipment on our parent work days.
