OVERVIEW
Harding Charter Preparatory is a free and public school of choice for not only Oklahoma City Public School patrons, but also for those students who live in other school districts who may transfer to our school for its program. This school’s mission statement reads:
Provide each student with an academically challenging educational experience through an Advanced Placement Curriculum, which will prepare graduates for success at a four-year university.
Harding Charter Preparatory offers a rigorous four by four college-preparatory curriculum with a focus on College Board Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Offering a total of 23 Advanced Placement courses, Harding Charter Preparatory High School is a comprehensive high school providing all of the fine arts courses and a competitive athletic program. All courses offered are taught using a Pre-AP or AP curriculum and strategies.

Established in 2003, Harding Charter Preparatory High School has graduated fourteen classes. It is accredited by the State of Oklahoma and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) certified.
Harding Charter Preparatory has been ranked the top Oklahoma public high school for seven consecutive years.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Harding Charter Preparatory has a 4 X 4 curriculum where students will graduate with 28 units of credit: four years in Math, Science, English and History.
In addition to the 4 X 4 curriculum, HCP requires 2 years in a consecutive World Language, 1 year in the Fine Arts, and semesters in the following: Humanities, Computer Applications, Health, and Novice Debate or Public Speaking.
